isPermaLink="false">http://www.k12masters.com/?p=1627#comment-45

We have several school sites with towers on land leased to cell providers. Very often they build them onto existing athletic field lighting towers. The lease rate varies from $2,000 to $3,000 a month with an annual increase built in. Since the work is performed on school grounds, we have a construction requirements document that the installer must sign and abide by, plus they still need to get building permits from the local govt, Prince William County VA. They require co-location of at least 3 cell providers on any one tower in an effort to reduce the number of towers needed throughout the county. One issue came up recently, a citizen registering her child at a school noticed a nearby cell tower that is not on our property. She requested that we perform a health study to prove there are no health hazards to the students and staff in the school from this tower. Haven't done that yet but what scares me is the several schools that we have towers actually on our property. I have to wonder if we're going to get similar requests for those. Lord help me if that happens.

We have several school sites with towers on land leased to cell providers. This is what we always tell our customers:Dry-cleaning of the floor:Preferably remove loose dirt with a vacuum cleaner or soft broom. Any remaining grains of sand may cause scratches in the surface. Dry-clean the oiled floor daily.Wet cleaning of the floor:Mop stubborn dirt away with water and wood floor cleaner. Clean the floor with a well squeezed mop. Allow the floor to dry completely before walking on it.

I liked the idea of removing gum with a putty knife!<br
